There is so much here- love and hate, mistakes and forgiveness, manipulation and selfness, innocence and maturity, pain and joy, desperation and patience, mistrust and understanding, feear and freedom, destiny and soulmates, the infinite capacity of the heart to love. I started crying at a specific point in this book, and frankly I didn’t stop. Parts of this story didn’t just break my heart- they ripped it into tiny, unrecognizable shreds. I felt it so deeply, I struggled to breathe- and not in that silly, hyperbolic overused review expression type of way, in the LITERAL I could not breathe because my emotions clogged my throat kind of way. And to be clear, I don’t love love triangles and I don’t love books that make me sob. But I loved this book with every fiber of my being. Every hot, salty tear was worth it. I’d cry a thousand more just to experience this story again.

One of my favourite parts of this duet is how Siobhan shows us the other side to being in the public eye. It’s not all happiness and smiles, there’s their lives that we see in the media and then their lives behind closed doors. Abso-freakin-lutely, and I’m sure I’ll do just that a couple of days before book two releases just to refresh my memory.

I had imagined too many things, but Siobhan really took me by surprise and honestly, I don't know how I'm going to survive until next book!!! This one is hard because clearly, Viv is with TWO guys and because I don’t really want to give spoilers it’s hard to answer this one sooo I’ll just go with my thoughts. I feel like the steam ad the romance with Dillon was ON FIRE while when she was with Reeve… it was hot don’t get me wrong but when Dil and Viv were together… they were consumed by one another. Nothing else existed. The ending of this book took a few years off my life. I have whiplash and the beginnings of a migraine. What in the ever loving hell? I'm not even going to let myself get started on the ridiculously absurd bomb that's dropped at the end. Let me start by saying as always. How much of a super fan I am of Siobhan. Some say enthusiastic some say stalker but who are we to judge.

This story wasn't the exception... It was a very big book that even though you wanted to find out everything, you just wanted to savor it and you were taking your sweet time to finish it...

Can’t wait until book two, Let Me Love You releases but if Siobhan Davis decided she wanted to write more stories from the characters in this world, she definitely wouldn’t hear me complaining! My heart literally hurts. Oh Siobhan- what have you done to me?! Powerfully emotive, heart wrenching, and devastatingly moving- Say I’m the One is a triumphant return to Siobhan Davis’ angsty roots. No doubt this is the story of the year- and is perhaps Siobhan Davis’s best work to date.

I can't write up this review like I normally would as no matter which way I go it will divulge spoilers and for this instalment you need to go in blind!! I cannot express to you how many moments like that I had reading this. I'm clearly riding a very different wavelength than these characters, and I'm pretty sure theirs is sponsored by something stronger than just over the counter chamomile. Siobhan surprised me again for I don’t know how many times with her new book and completely delighted me. I'm head over heels in love with my best friend. Although, I can't pinpoint exactly when Reeve Lancaster became my entire world. Was it when we were little kids, practically brought up together, after Reeve's mom died during childbirth and his dad subsequently fell apart? Or when I doodled his name in my school journal at age ten? Maybe it was when we became boyfriend and girlfriend at fourteen or when we shed our virginity at sixteen, pledging our forever?
